what is the best fluorocarbon fishing line on the market?

If it matters, I’m looking for 8 lb test and fishing for walleye. Any additional info or pointers about using fluoro would help me a lot.

seaguar invisx is the best in my opinion. It is pricey though. I would personally use power pro 10 pound braided line for walleye. It is 2 pound mono diameter and it is rated for 10 pounds though I firmly believe it will hold about 30 pounds. This will also eliminate the risk of the fish biting through the line as the braid is very hard to cut although I doubt you would have a walleye bite through, but still.

I like Sufix when it comes to Fluorocarbon line. It seems to be a smoother casting fluoro than a lot of additional brands. Just my opinion though.

Seaguar InvisX fishes closely to Monofilament, at least that’s what I’ve heard. To me it seems like a excellent line.

    Berkley

I use berkley vanish. I use it with braid. I attach about 5 feet of fluorcarbon to braid when I am fishing with a jig.
