I just recently went to the Jersey Shore (Asbury Park Area) and am really interested in fishing. I’ve only fished for bass and lake perch on Lake Erie in the past, so I have no thought where to start or what bait to use. Thanks for the help!

If surf fishing, you’ll need a 10′ fishing pole, St. Croix Triumph, and a surf casting reel, Shimano Baitrunner 4500. As far as bait, bunker (Menhaden), Mackerel, or Herring. If you fishing by boat, a Penn Squider and a 6′ Star fishing rod.
