What Are The Best Fishing Piers In Corpus Christi And Galveston?

I will be visiting Body Christi and Galveston in late September and earily October and want to do some pier fishing. What would be the best piers open to the public in each city? Any tips on species of fish and techniques would be greatly appreciated. Be grateful You.

   For fishing Body Christi Bay head toward the Pier at Indian Point. If you are downtown take the highway that heads towards the Lexington aircraft carrier. That road (Texas Hwy 35) will take you to Indian Point. Just look to the right at the edge of the Bay. Catch yourself a skipjack (Lady Fish) and cut it into chunks. REDFISH CANDY.
