I got an old fishing reel and i want to replace it with a new one.
The only issue is that i don’t know how to mount the nylon on the fishing reel .
Can you write it how to do that ?
Do i have to make a knot or something ?
Also.
Is it possible to use the reel to mount the nylon , or you have to do it manually ( with your hands ) ?

Well i got a new open cast fishing reel and how do i set the drag on it?
Also whenever i seem to snag on something heavy, a ton of line goes out?
I am assuming this is drag?
IM only 16 and i do alot of deepsea fishing with my dad but i only have one reel for it.(shimano spheros 12000FA) Now i want a baitcasting reel like my dads that can take on big snapper and im starting to get into catfishing and going for alligator gar so i kinda want it to be able to take those on also. thanks for the help.
I am not a huge fisherman but enjoy fishing for bass, pike, and walleye. I just found out that my reel only holds 6 lb. test line. I can’t catch the size of fish that i would like to with 6 lb. test line and i would like a new reel. What should i consider before buying a new reel? also i would like to have a spinning reel.
I just bought a zebco fishing rod, but the line was tangled inside, so I took the line out, untangled it, and now I don’t know how it gets wound around the guides before it gets threaded through the hole in the notched metal cap before going outside to the pole. Can you help?? I hae never done this before, if you can find one a diagram or video would work great. Tahnks!
