I usally fish behind my house at a pond if that helps. I dont know much about fishing besides the obvious basics.

What is a good inexpensive rod/reel combo to get started salmon fishing with?
I’ll be fishing mostly rivers and have never fished salmon before. I’m looking for decent equipment that won’t break the bank but I’m not looking for the cheapest thing either.

What’s a good place to go fishing around Houston and Galveston?
Hey guys,
I’m kind of new to the fishing scene, last year I went fishing a few times in a pier in Galveston, but that pier was distroyed by hurricane Ike. I wanna go fishing tomorrow but I’m not sure what’s a good place to go to, any suggestions?

Any good fishing spots along the susquahanna river in harrisburg, PA without a boat?
My boyfriend and his brother are avid fisherman but not from the area and they don’t have a boat. Does anyone know of any spots along the Susquahanna river to go fishing without a boat? Please help.

What are some good techniques when fly fishing a lake from shore?
I need to know some good techniques for fly fishing a lake from shore. It just seems much different techniques than if you were in a river.

Where is a good source for Ontario fishing outfitter reviews?
Looking for information on Canada Outfitters. Fishing, experience with the outfitter, quality of facilites, etc. There are lots of outfitters but other than what they have to say on their website I can’t find much information. It would be nice to find some consumer feedback on different outfitters.

What is a good time to go fishing in the morning?
What is a good time to go fishing in the morning and what kind of fish would be out and be able to catch? I live in Rochester NY. And I fish in the Erie Canal. It has bass, carp, pike, trout, bullheads, catfish, and many other fish.

What Are Any Good Fly Fishing Spots In Washington?
Somewhere near Tacoma, Lacy, Olympia, or Seattle. It needs to be a place that can be fished all year round. Im a begginer so i dont know much about fly fishing. And it needs to be a place that has fish like rainbow trout.
