How Can I Cast Further Using A 13ft Caorse Fishing Rod On Commercial Fisheries ?

admin just bought a new rod with many years away from fishing. I am having distress casting any real distance with it when float fishing. can cast fine with a feeder excellent direction and distance etc. i know my reel needs a small more line but is the problem or is the rod pants ?
