How old do you have to be to rent a fishing boat in California?

Me and my friends are deciding to go fishing, but we want to rent a boat in order to do so. We just wanted to know how ancient do you have to be to rent a boat. We are going to The Delta near Sacramento.

we have experience driving boats, just not sure if we can rent them.

there is no boat licence, so usually its if you have a credit card…and that usually 18.

You have to be 18 or go with an adult.
