I’ve been trying to catch the two Marlin over 500 pounds on Flick fishing for countless hours…with no success. I’ve been using the sea lure like the ancient man says, and nothing. Also, I’ve been fishing where it says the Marlin is the well loved catch. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Try squid in blue deeps.

Get it to 210 ft by using a smooth, quite slow movement, don’t flick it even if it is called flick fishing. Its quite hard but works with a while with 210 ft leave it until you get a bite, I got my 2 500 marlins at 200-210 ft
Ps I used a lure
i changed my settings to manual cast, meaning need to hold button and wait til the chart is at max then release… will reach 200-210ft easily this way… then if the bite fights back and the tension reach 300-500ft, that is A BLUE MARLIN!
I just passed this stage. You certainly need to use a lure at the blue deeps, and cast 210ft. I was attempting it with squid for a long time and all I gt were sailfishes. Once I switched to a lure, I got both my blue marlins in under 10 mins.
I used the lure in blue deeps and just spellbound 2 including my largest ever at 770lbs at over 200 feet out
I spellbound a 900lbs I casted over 300 feet
how quick do you reel in?
My stupid line keeps snapping.
P.S I am using weight grudge.
