A Glen Burnie man was arrested on theft and drug charges after a police officer found him in the bathroom of an Annapolis store with a $700 fishing reel stuffed into his pants, Annapolis police said today.

An employee of the West Marine store in the Hillsmere Shopping Center flagged down a patrolling officer about 2:45 p.m. Monday to report two suspicious men in a Jeep in the parking lot.

Police determined that the Jeep had been stolen from Baltimore City, and that the men had gone into the store. Read more
