For the past eight years I have tried to go fishing every single day in a calendar year. Think about that - going fishing every day, no matter what the weather, no matter how sick, no matter where you travel. My first seven tries failed. Something - a trip out of the US, an operation on my hand, something, made me miss days. But 2009 was different!

Tungsten fishing weights are very expensive. Are they worth the added cost over traditional lead weights? Captain Mike Gerry says they give you more sensitivity and come through cover better than lead. He says they are worth the extra cost.
