in most states you will need one
hey man, it all depends on the state that you are in. in some states you need a license to fish surf only if you are a nonresident of the state and there are additional states that no one has to have license to fish the surf and there are others that you have to have a license no matter where you are fishing and no matter who you are. it all depends on the state. if i was you i would look up your states community department of natural resources and they should have a website with all you need to know. here in georgia all needs a license. surf fishin or not. i hope that helps you out a bit excellent luck excellent fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
In Florida if you are brine fishing from land or a peir or structure afixed to land you do not need a License.
Psst, you’re right I forgot to mention that
Psst, Brandon, that’s only if you’re a inhabitant. Wadefishing salt or briny fill up out to four feet deep or from a structure permanently affixed to shore
In Maryland i surf fish with my uncle and we live in PA and he doesn’t have one ever.
who said you need a license to fish brine?? i live in maine and never had a “brine” license, surf or deep sea fishing..
