I am planning a freshwater Fishing trip with my friends. We are located in Brooklyn New York, but we are going to be traveling by car so we can go just about anywhere in New York.
What are the best freshwater fishing spots? We dont have a boat. Can we rent a boat at this spot?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!

I will be visiting Corpus Christi and Galveston in late September and earily October and want to do some pier fishing. What would be the best piers open to the public in each city? Any tips on species of fish and techniques would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I was fishing today by a bayou (canal) and I could not catch a thing. Could it be the weather? Is there a way to move the line to get fish easier? Did I not wait long enough? Could they just not be biting today? What?

I’m interested in surf-fishing and fresh/salt water fishing. Which brands are commonly suggested as being good quality or a good investment? So far I’ve only been introduced to products from Penn.
And are combo deals worth looking into or should they be avoided?

I am a serious bassfisherman from Japan. Besides working a full-time job in New Jersey, I fish bassfishing tournaments. My full-time job is nothing to do with bassfishing. To contribute all my life for bassfishing, I would like to move to south and work in fishing tackle industry, but don’t know how to find a job in fishing tackle industry. Could someone please help me find a job in the industry? I want to stay in the industry and the sport as much as possible.
Thank you!
